Other Events

On October 11, 2019, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of The Hershey Company (the “Company”) elected Michele G. Buck, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, to succeed Charles A. Davis as Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. Ms. Buck will also retain her responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Also on October 11, 2019, the independent directors of the Board elected Mr. Davis to serve as the Board’s Lead Independent Director, effective immediately.
