Item 2.05 | Costs Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities |
On January 31, 2020, iMedia Brands, Inc. (the “Company”) committed to an organizational restructuring to improve the performance of ShopHQ’s on-air programming and to accelerate the Company’s return to profitability. The organizational restructuring included a plan of termination under which the Company incurred approximately $2.1 million in charges, of which $1.9 million represents severance expenses with the remainder consisting of taxes and outplacement expenses. All of the charges are expected to be recognized in the Company’s consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended February 1, 2020. Approximately $2.0 million of the estimated charges are expected to result in future cash expenditures.
