Other Events.

On March 25, 2019, Ecology and Environment Inc. (Nasdaq: EEI) (the “Company”) received correspondence from the Nasdaq Stock Market ("Nasdaq") requesting an update to the Company’s original plan to regain compliance with Nasdaq continued listing requirements regarding timely filing of required periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”).  On April 1, 2019, the Company submitted a letter to Nasdaq reaffirming its intention to take all necessary steps to achieve compliance with Nasdaq continued listing requirements no later than May 13, 2019.
