Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Verizon Communications Inc. announced that Marc C. Reed, Verizon’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, would step down from his current position in July 2019. After doing so, he will report to Hans Vestberg, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Verizon, as a strategic advisor.
