On October 1, 2021, Guaranty Federal Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Guaranty Bank, announced a dividend per common share of $0.15 for its third quarter ending September 30, 2021. The dividend will be payable on October 22, 2021 to stockholders of record on October 12, 2021. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

SPRINGFIELD, MO – (October 1, 2021) –Guaranty Federal Bancshares, Inc., (NASDAQ: GFED), the holding company (the “Company”) for Guaranty Bank, today announces a dividend per common share of $0.15 for its third quarter ending September 30, 2021. The dividend will be payable on October 22, 2021 to stockholders of record on October 12, 2021.
