On December 21, 2022, Astrotech Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). A copy of the press release is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

On December 19, 2022, the Company received written notice from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) stating that because the Company’s common stock had a closing bid price at or above $1.00 per share for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days, the Company has regained compliance with the minimum bid price requirement of $1.00 per share for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market, as set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), and that the matter is now closed.

ASTROTECH REGAINS COMPLIANCE WITH NASDAQ LISTING REQUIREMENTS

 

Austin, Texas, December 21, 2022 – Astrotech Corporation (Nasdaq: ASTC) (the “Company” or “Astrotech”), a mass spectrometry company that launches, manages, and commercializes scalable companies based on its innovative core technology, today announced that it has received written notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) informing the Company that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price listing requirement. The Company has satisfied the terms for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market by complying with the minimum bid price requirement of $1.00 per share under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). Accordingly, Nasdaq has advised that the matter is now closed.
